The price of Japanese giant Sony’s flagship game console PlayStation 5 Pro continues to rise rapidly in the Russian market. In just a few months, the cost of modifying powerful consoles has almost doubled, breaking through psychological barriers.

If this spring buyers could buy a version with a 2000 GB SSD for about 79 thousand rubles in popular retail chains such as DNS, then by August the price tag has changed dramatically. Now, sellers of similar sets are asking for more than 130,000 rubles, a trend that affects most major retail companies.

Additionally, DNS and M.Video are not available in the console. In markets, things are slightly better, but not everywhere.
