With the release of World of Warcraft’s 12.1 Curse of Urathek update, players are faced with a very unusual technical phenomenon. When the connection to the server is lost, the user character who is disconnected from the game will not freeze in place, but will continue to automatically fight opponents in the group.

Although this feature isn’t officially mentioned in the patch notes, and most believe it to be a bug, fans have speculated that Blizzard may be secretly testing a mechanism to help players and their teams suddenly disconnect when entering a dungeon or raid.

The developers themselves have yet to comment on the matter, but players continue to share fun videos with the Immortal warrior on social networks.
