The developer of The Lord of the Rings Online has revealed a preliminary development timeline for the legendary world of Angmar and Mordor. In the coming months, servers will receive new level cap increases with major game updates.
Around September 9th, Angmar and Mordor plans to increase the development limit to level 115, corresponding to the content of Mordor and Northern Black Forest. Then, around November 11th, the maximum level will be raised to level 120. The next phase is scheduled for December 16th – with the release of Minas Morgul, War of the Three Peaks, and Blood of Azog, players will reach level 130.
The final update to World of Legends will take place around January 13, 2027. At that time, coinciding with the release of Gundabad and King of Gondor East, the cap will be raised to level 140. Thereafter, free character transfers from Angmar and Mordor will continue until March 30, 2027. The developer promises to discuss the transfer process in more detail early next year, noting that it will be similar to previous transfers from the Legends world.
