Frogwares Studios has released The Sinking City 2, a dark action-horror film based on the works of Howard Lovecraft. The game is available on PC and consoles.
These events take place in the flooded American city of Arkham in the 1920s. Protagonist Calvin Rafferty sets out to find his missing lover Fay and faces the consequences of a devastating occult ritual and the horrific creation of a supernatural flood.
Unlike the first part, the sequel shifts the focus more towards the classic survival horror genre: players must carefully manage limited resources, fight terrifying monsters, solve complex puzzles and explore the world.
In terms of ratings, players on Steam strongly recommend this new product (93%), and media on Metacritic gave the game an average score of 79.
