The company claims that the Dark Power Pro 14 IO Series power supplies represent Be Quiet!’s most technologically advanced power supply models ever. The new products are designed for high-performance gaming systems using the latest graphics cards, overclocking next-generation systems, and workstations for creating and rendering media content.

Dark Power Pro 14 IO is Be Quiet!’s first power supply. With intelligent software control. To do this, use the proprietary “Quiet!” IO Center, which lets you manage and monitor power, switch between multi-channel and single-channel modes, and choose between semi-passive and active fan modes. The utility includes a control panel that displays real-time data on power efficiency, fan speed, and power consumption. The built-in electricity bill calculator shows the electricity bill since the last time you launched the software, the total cost, and the estimated monthly electricity bill.

The Dark Power Pro 14 IO power supply is certified to 80 Plus Titanium and Cybenetics Titanium standards – with an efficiency of up to 94.9%. At the heart of every model is a fully digital control system using Active Rectifier Full-Bridge LLC technology, which provides higher efficiency, better control and less ripple.

This power supply features a new aluminum heatsink design that provides additional cooling for internal components when using semi-passive cooling mode. The new power supply lets you switch between balanced active cooling mode, where the Silent Wings fans spin continuously, and semi-passive mode, where the fans don’t spin at low loads and only kick in when resource-intensive operations require additional cooling. The fan itself is integrated directly into the radiator, which makes it immune to vibration. The fan is equipped with a 6-pole motor and hydrodynamic bearings to ensure a long service life and minimal energy consumption.

The Dark Power Pro 14 IO power supply comes with two built-in 12V-2×6 connectors for supporting new generation graphics cards with PCIe 5.1, and four PCIe 6×2 pin connectors for supporting previous generation graphics cards. The PSU features a fully modular cable design. The latter comes with braid. Both models offer comprehensive protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, overtemperature, overload and input voltage surges. Both versions come with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Power supply is quiet! The Dark Power Pro 14 IO series will go on sale on September 1st. The manufacturer prices the 1600 W model at $499.90/€479.90 and the 1300 W model at $479.90/€439.90.
