Fairphone today launched its latest modular and highly repairable smartphone, the Fairphone 6+. It differs from the Fairphone 6 by having 50% more RAM (12 GB vs. 8 GB) and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. The smartphone is available in new Cobalt Blue, Forest Green, and Horizon Black color options. These are the only changes compared to the Fairphone 6.

Fairphone 6+ has a storage capacity of 256 GB, which is expandable to 2 TB using an SDXC memory card. The machine is equipped with a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 1116×2484 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The 50MP main camera is equipped with a Sony Lytia 700C sensor with optical anti-shake function, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 32MP front lens, a battery capacity of 4415mAh, 30mm support, and a battery capacity of 415mAh, 30mm. W.
The main feature of the Fairphone 6+ (same as the Fairphone 6) is the presence of 12 modular components, including the USB Type-C port, battery, display and back cover that are user-replaceable “Less than five minutes.” The microphone, side buttons and fingerprint scanner can be repaired at a service center, and the supply of spare parts is guaranteed until 2033. The phone comes with a five-year warranty.
The Fairphone 6+ runs Android 16 and, according to the manufacturer, will receive six major operating system updates. According to the rather confusing messaging on the official website, the device will receive security updates until 2032 or 2033.
In the United States, the smartphone will be sold on the Fairphone online store and Amazon for $649, and in Europe it will be priced at €649.
