Pearl Abyss held a large-scale celebration for the first anniversary of the creation of the global single server of the mobile MMORPG “Black Desert”. The celebrations will last for five weeks, from August 18th to September 22nd. This anniversary coincides with the event on August 19, 2025, when servers in Asia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau were merged into one as part of the massive UNITED SERVER initiative to bring players from different regions together.
Over the next five weeks, users will experience a virtual “tour around the world.” Each week the campaign will be dedicated to one of the five continents: Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania. Players will be able to participate in themed continental events and receive daily rewards and useful bonuses. For example, a large birthday cake appears in all major cities in the game – interacting with it increases the combat experience gained by the character by 50% for 24 hours.
The developers have also prepared a special collection called “Memories We Created Together”. By completing missions and participating in holiday events, players will be able to collect Anniversary Collections, which will open up access to additional abilities and valuable in-game items. A special calendar with weekly prizes has also been launched for players. PVE battle fans can challenge the world boss Piku. Defeating him can obtain rare items such as “Breath of the Void” and “Eye of the Void”.
The first week of celebrations has begun and is entirely dedicated to Asia. The game adds quests to collect bright lanterns, which can be redeemed for rewards in special shops, and also opens the “Morning Lands” market, which offers daily and weekly merchandise, including tickets to the Black Temple. In addition, on August 19, the official YouTube channel of “Black Desert Mobile Game” will also host a special live broadcast, during which the developer will use lucky numbers to draw prizes and share the festive atmosphere with the community.
