The first story expansion pack “Hell Rising” for the hardcore action role-playing game “Nioh 3” has been released. The patch takes players to a modified version of Edo during the Keian period (1651), with a new conspiracy surrounding the mysterious spirit stones, while the city itself is overrun by roving yokai forces and the aftermath of the Crucible Disaster.
The main innovations of this update are the new weapon categories “Pig” and “Shield”, which combine the swift attack of the short spear with reliable protection, and the customizable “Scroll of the Hundred Demon Realm”.
In addition, players will discover new bosses, ninjutsu skills, onmyoji magic, new difficulty levels and future foundations in the form of the second chapter of Blood Rebellion announced.
