One More Level and Lyrical Games have completed development of the Valor Mortis action game and have no plans to change the announced release date of September 24, 2026: a first-person game with a “soul” “Go find gold”.
The Polish studio, best known for Ghostrunner, thanked the community for supporting the project, which will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and XBOX series and will be included with Game Pass subscriptions immediately. “The Death of the Dead” overlays fantasy elements on top of the real-life Napoleonic Wars (Vincent Cassell plays the emperor): William, an ordinary soldier, dies, only to rise from the dead and gain strength, becoming the hope of mankind.
A supernatural plague swept through 19th-century Europe, twisting, mutilating, and desecrating everything and everyone. Now for William, every death is an opportunity to become stronger. He has a full arsenal of weapons and mysterious abilities at his disposal, plus mechanics for parrying, sprinting, and bloody finishing moves.
