NightRunner has been released – an armored train defense shooter inspired by Escape from Tarkov

Developers at indie studio 314 Arts have shown off a gameplay trailer for NightRunner, a cooperative roglite shooter with evacuation functionality. The project also contains tower defense mechanics and even dungeon exploration.

NightRunner’s main gameplay feature is an armored train that allows you to travel through a world overrun by mutants. By participating in matches, players will collect resources to improve their mobile bases, weapons, and more.

Before each trip, the player’s personalized carriages will be combined into a train that will continuously drive to the designated destination. In order to successfully complete the raid, it is very important that the train (or at least part of the train) reaches the end point. During the battle, the monster can destroy one of the vehicles, but the attack doesn’t end there.

NightRunner will be released on PC (steam) In 2027, it was announced that the text would be translated into Russian. In September 2026, developers plan to conduct open testing.
