The ruthless exploitation of various Marvel franchises continues, and now a new project called Marvel’s Wolverine is in the works. Today, developers from Insomniac Games report The project has gone to press (“into gold”), which means its release will almost certainly not deviate from the previously set date of September 15th.
Typically, printing is considered the final stage of video game production. Today, the event has no meaning, but the tradition remains.
As for the project itself, in Marvel’s Wolverine we play the character of probably the most famous X-Men character – Wolverine. The project was proposed five years ago, but progress was delayed as there were more priorities and, according to the publisher, a box office game. Still, Wolverine is a character that, while well-known, is essentially boring, and it will be interesting to see how the new product sells in the first few weeks.
