Smilegate Studios announces the upcoming release of anime gashapon “Epic Seven” on the service steam. The game will have a separate PC client for the Valve store and support cross-platform play, and will also open a new server and launch multiple in-game events.
If you’ve played Epic Seven before, you can easily transfer your existing account to the Steam version. When transferring, all progress, heroes, items, purchase history, rewards, and current Epic Pass progress are preserved. Thereafter, the same account can still be used on STOVE mobile version and PC client.
Current players should exercise caution when launching for the first time. If you log in directly through Steam now, you will no longer be able to use your old account with this service. You will need to contact support and request that your new account be deleted. Thereafter, old accounts can be transferred to Steam.
The Steam version is really no different than other versions of the game. Cross-platform play is possible between Steam, STOVE PC and mobile devices, with the same system requirements and prices. Through Valve’s services, you can play games on new and existing servers. However, some features may vary from server to server or run on a different schedule. As an example, the developers cited World Arena, which is only available on new servers.
To celebrate the upcoming release on Steam, the developers have launched a number of events.
- Fan Art Competition (As of September 17) – In the new work category, ten winners will receive 50,000 won in Steam gift cards, and in the best created illustration category, ten winners will receive 10,000 won each. Works created using artificial intelligence are not eligible. You must upload your artwork to Vapor community.
- Screenshot Contest (As of August 29) – Users need to upload screenshots of their favorite heroes or something you want to show off Vapor community. Afterwards, you need to create a topic on the STOVE forum titled “Nickname/Server” and add a screenshot to the text to confirm your Steam post. All eligible entrants will receive two Leifs. It’s worth noting that screenshots cannot be added before publishing.
