Rockstar Games launches its first attack on Cyberleek! However, further gameplay leaks have previously hit the internet.
Rockstar Games and Grand Theft Auto VI have been hit with another major leak in the past few days. Many game clips and information enter the Internet through “Cyberleek”, which is why publisher Take-Two Interactive even subpoenaed Microsoft and Discord to court so that the identity of the leaker can be determined.
Rockstar and Take-Two still don’t know the identity of the leaker, but the two companies have now successfully launched the first attack on “Cyberleek” and are working to contain the leaks.
The “Cyberleek” website is now offline, and the leaker’s Telegram channel is also offline. The latter now says in the following message that the channel has been taken offline due to trademark infringement: “The channel is unavailable due to copyright infringement.”
Rockstar Games has yet to comment on the circumstances of the shutdown, but it’s clear that the legal proceedings have had at least some effect since the Cyberleek leaks began on August 18, 2026.
However, after early videos have been revealed, more leaks have previously appeared online, such as a wanted system with 6 stars or the game’s large map. The latest leak reveals a further look at Supercars gameplay, but also shows how characters can rob a store, refuel a vehicle or crash in slow motion. GTA 6’s day and night cycle is also discussed. It’s been revealed that this transition will last a total of 144 minutes – a big jump from GTA 5’s day-night cycle, which lasted just 48 minutes from start to finish.
Meanwhile, according to a report by Jason Schreier Bloomberg It is also confirmed that Rockstar Games does not plan to delay the gameplay release on Netflix on August 27, 2026. Despite the leaks, this should go ahead as planned.
