The author of “Vampire Survivor” is preparing a new game, “Legacy of the Blood Moon”, which will lead players to follow the footsteps of the mysterious Blood Moon clan. This version will be released on August 28, 2026, and will bring a lot of new content to the game.
The plot tells the story of Saint Balthasar who founded the Order of the Red Moon after seeing a vision of heaven illuminated by scarlet light. The organization seeks a place of eternal life, but its founder disappears during a pilgrimage. Now the Blood Moon clan is following in his footsteps, hoping to unravel the mystery of the disappearance and ancient sanctuary.
Legacy of the Blood Moon will add over 10 new characters, over 16 weapons and evolutions, eight music tracks and a massive Red Moon Manor location. These heroes include Malis of the Blood Moon, Calogero of the Blood Moon, Baal Tarsa himself, the Astartes, and the ancient king Sargon. The arsenal will include Scarlet Needle, Incineration, Blacken Firmament and, of course, FireBall – names the developers have explicitly decided not to invent for a long time.
The add-on will be released on August 28 for PC, consoles, and mobile devices. At the same time, Legacy of the Moonspell will receive additional content at a price that will be reduced to that of the new DLC.
