In a new overview trailer for arcade action game Star Wars: Galaxy Racer , Fuse Games CEO Matt Webster spoke at length about the possibilities for online play.
In addition to the usual quick races (Quick Race and Quick Podrace), the project will also offer players in-depth competitive modes – Multiplayer Tour and Podrace, for up to 12 people.
Multiplayer Tours require you to complete a series of five races to earn upgrades, points, and rare parts. Before the match begins, players can choose a character with unique passive attributes, choose the type of vehicle, sign lucrative contracts and bet on their success. Taking the risk of going all-in and finishing in the top three brings legendary rewards, while the call-out feature adds extra intensity to matches by allowing you to target specific opponents.
