Studio Frozenbyte has announced the transfer of adventure platformer Trine 6: Together in Time. Initially, the release was scheduled for September 17, but based on the results of the closed playtest, the developers decided to delay the release by six months. The game will be released on March 4, 2027 on PC, current-gen consoles, and Nintendo Switch/Switch 2.

As the creators explained in an official statement, the extra time will allow them to address key issues pointed out by testers: improving the puzzle mechanics (often criticized in the previous installment), polishing the combat system, camera, training, and online multiplayer. Additionally, the transfer will allow the project to avoid a September release, when things like Control resonance and Silent Hill: Town Falls.
