HoYoverse has opened the release window for life simulator Petit Planet. At the opening ceremony of gamescom 2026, a new trailer was released, confirming that the game will be released in winter 2026 on PC (HoYoPlay, Epic Games Store) and mobile devices running iOS and Android.
Gamescom 2026 attendees will be able to try out a playable demo of Small Planet from August 26-30.
In “Small Planet”, players play the role of planet guardians, and the celestial bodies they control are arranged and developed. The gameplay is based on the concept of a comfortable life simulator in a space environment, where the user can engage in farming, fishing, cooking and landscaping. One of the core mechanics will be interacting with your “furry neighbors”, unique characters with their own stories and dreams who can be invited to settle on your planet, live together and exchange gifts. The game world dynamically changes based on the depth of connections players build with the characters around them. As the planet thrives, the inner energy known as Luca is transforming the landscape and opening up new possibilities.
