Capcom showed off a new demo for Onimusha packed with fresh content at Gamescom opening night live.
On the occasion of Gamescom 2026, Capcom showed off a new trailer for Onimusha: Kendo at Opening Night Live. There’s also news about the demo, as it offers new content.
The trial version is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 and the Microsoft Store, and includes all-new content for the sword-fighting action game. This content will also be available as part of an update for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). In this regard, the updated demo is available on all platforms.
There are some new elements in the demo, including a second mission exploring a ghost sanctuary. This surreal place is designed to give you a first look at the story through new game mechanics and the big boss Daidara.
You can watch the mentioned trailer below, which showcases a number of exciting boss battles, including Ifuu and Burai. The duo summoned wind and thunder. The duel between the protagonists Miyamoto Musashi and Dokyo was also discussed.
