Developers Cooldown Games and Frozenbyte have announced their decision Delay “Trinity 6: Together” A few months. The game was originally scheduled to be released on September 17th and will now be March 4, 2027 su PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC (via Steam ed Epic Games Store).
In a post from the developer, the team explained that the extra time gained as a result of the delay will allow them to intervene in various aspects of the game: Improve heroes and their skills, perfect combatoptimizing camera behavior and reviewing the mechanics behind online multiplayer. All interventions were based on feedback collected during a series of private tests.
Classic and Freestyle Puzzle Modes
Unlike many other delays, in this case the decision was made not just to improve certain aspects of the game or to limit flaws. In fact, in Frozenbyte’s plan, a “Second Puzzle Solving Experience” Valid throughout the game and designed to give players more freedom in solving puzzles.
The team is overhauling each level to introduce two optional modes. The first one, freestyle modeexpands on the current approach and focuses on a freer, more open solution that allows players to use their preferred characters and abilities. The second one, Classic modeinstead offers more structured puzzles, similar to the style of the first Trinity, based on a single hero’s specific abilities and variations on their role, whether alone or cooperatively.

Essentially, Trine 6 will offer two distinct puzzle styles: one modern and flexible, the other more traditional and guided, to satisfy both history fans and players coming to the series for the first time.
