AOC has launched the AGP327KG, a new 31.5-inch gaming monitor with a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. In a press release, Nvidia said it is the world’s first 5K gaming monitor with G-Sync Pulsar technology.

The previous G-Sync Pulsar monitor was in a 27-inch format with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. AGP327KG provides larger screen size and resolution while retaining Pulsar’s variable frequency backlight pulsation technology.
G-Sync Pulsar synchronizes backlight pulsations with the monitor’s variable refresh rate. Nvidia claims this improves perceived motion clarity without requiring the panel to run at the higher refresh rates typically required to achieve similar results.
AOC also equips the monitor with G-Sync environment adaptive technology. A built-in light sensor automatically adjusts the display’s brightness and color temperature based on surrounding lighting conditions.
