Aroged: 9 minutes of gameplay content from the remake of Heroes of Might and Magic III appears online

Last night, Ubisoft made a surprise announcement, quite literally announcing that it would be remaking the cult game Heroes of Might and Magic III. And today, gameplay videos are slowly starting to appear on the Internet, including official videos from Ubisoft, which we used as the basis for this material.

As is evident from the video below, a lot of work was done on the graphics side of the remake: it “moved” to full 3D, and the visual presentation became truly beautiful and modern. The snowy view from the tower alone was worth it.

Thanks to the full transition to 3D, players can now rotate the camera at will and view maps and battlefields from any convenient angle. As for the rules of the game, they remain unchanged. Except on the city screen, you can now order a row of buildings instead of having to deal with this tedious routine every turn (roughly speaking, ten castles).

We remind you that the release date for the legendary game remaster has not yet been announced. But it is reported that it will contain the complete version of “Part 3”: including the original part “Rebirth of Erathia”, and adding “Doomsday Blade” (sequel) and “Breath of Death” (prequel).

Fans of the third Heroes are already hostile to the remake, which is usually natural: it’s hard to find great rebels in the gaming world. For those who aren’t afraid of innovation, the remake will certainly appeal.
