The package includes installation of panels, windows, doors, current collectors, as well as laying cables and installing sound and thermal insulation elements. As mentioned above, when installing sound insulation materials on high-speed trains, train sound insulation improvement technologies such as “Lastochka” and “Finist” are used.

To improve the auditory comfort of passengers on high-speed trains, special streamlined collectors that do not generate noise due to air turbulence, external doors “with reinforced sealing profiles” and double-glazed windows with firmly fixed adhesive connections will also be used.

According to the press office of the Ministry of Transport, Ural Locomotive Company has so far completed the welding work on 14 of the first 16 carriages of the two high-speed trains. Let us remind you that according to the plan, Moscow-St. Petersburg will undergo a trial operation. The St. Petersburg high-speed rail is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2027, and passenger transportation is expected to be launched in the spring of 2028.
