Publisher 505 Games and development studio ArtPlay announced Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement Storythe sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. The game was originally slated to launch in 2026, but was moved to 2027 PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X e S e PC. Producer Koji Igarashi conveyed the news of the delay through a video message: “We have decided to postpone the release of the game to 2027.”
Development is almost complete
Igarashi explained that development is now in its final stages and the team recently released it Some new images for the game. The developers also hope to show off some gameplay materials soon.
The producers acknowledged that the delay may be disappointing for fans, but emphasized the development team’s commitment to completing the project in the best way possible: “We know this is disappointing news for our fans, but everyone on the development team is working hard to make the game the best it can be.
