Aliens: Fireteam 2 , the co-op shooter from developer Cold Iron Studios and publisher Daybreak Game Company, has been released on PC and consoles. Reaction to the new product from Steam users has been rather lukewarm, with the product garnering a 58% positive rating based on the first 1,820 reviews.
Basically, these complaints boil down to the fact that the project is more likely to be viewed as DLC for the original game and not worth its price tag. Some users complained about the lack of translation into their language, mediocre graphics and animations. At the same time, many players are very satisfied with the quality of the game and enjoy the familiar gameplay of their favorite series in a new package.
In “Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2”, players take on the role of colonial marines and face hordes of dangerous aliens. The developers have added a cooperative mode for up to four players, improved the career system and character development, and introduced new opponents that are smarter, more diverse, and more ferocious.
