As part of Gamescom’s opening night live, publisher Level Infinite and developer Behavior Interactive have launched Exterminauts, a new collaborative project. The third-person PvE shooter combines chaotic action with the ruthless daily grind of working-class field technicians. The team behind Deadline by Daylight are working with partners TEAM SHOOTER & CREATIVE on the studio’s most ambitious in-house project to date. The adventure is scheduled to launch in 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
In Destroyer, you find yourself on the devastated planet of Field and step into the shoes of a tenacious Destroyer, Craftsman, and First Responder. Your daily life in space is anything but an easy journey.

As noted by executives at Behavior Interactive and TEAM SHOOTER & CREATIVE, the idea came from creating a game about hardworking sci-fi workers who have to do their jobs even when everything goes wrong on a galactic scale.
