As part of Gamescom Opening Night Live, Paradox Interactive, Iceflake Studios and the LEGO Group announced LEGO Skylines, a new, intimate city-building simulator that combines deep management mechanics with the signature style and creative freedom of the LEGO world.
Players must move from a humble settlement to a prosperous metropolis, providing it with basic resources such as roads, electricity, and water supply, and taking care of the happiness and health of its residents.
The project will offer a variety of customizable sites, detailed buildings, parks, museums and even a farm with a bakery, allowing you to turn your architectural fantasies into reality. According to the creators, the main goal is not only to transfer the most popular game genre into a LEGO environment, but also to make this game one of the best and most soulful in its genre.
