Okay, admit it: Is anyone seriously waiting for Squadron 42 to hit theaters before the end of 2026? Wallets bulging, waiting for Season 2 in 2027. Yes, Chris Robert has reconnected with his congregation.
Of course, instead of taking responsibility, this wretched con man presents himself as a victim of circumstance, standing up to protect his dear brainchild – the Star Citizen story campaign (remember, Cloud Imperium Games has attracted 6.69 million Star Citizen and over $1 billion in development funding).
Luckily, it didn’t take long to find the culprit: GTA VI was responsible for everything (by the way, did you see the game’s premiere yet?).
I know many of you will be disappointed that you won’t be able to play Squadron 42 later this year, but it’s the best thing that could have happened to the project because it’s truly something special, so the project needs to be thrust into the spotlight of the wider gaming world.
