The Witcher 3 Remastered requires Windows 11 and a GTX 1660 class graphics card

CD Projekt RED has announced the system requirements for the updated version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The bar has been raised significantly compared to the original game: the minimum specs now include a GTX 1660 instead of a GTX 660, and the amount of RAM has been increased from 6 GB to 12 GB.

Minimum specs include a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 5500 XT, and 12 GB of RAM. The installation requires a 70 GB SSD, and the developers say that only 64-bit Windows 11 is available in the operating system.

Recommended requirements include a Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600X, RTX 2060 Super or RX 6600 XT graphics card, and 16 GB of RAM. 70GB SSD and Windows 11 are still mandatory.

The remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to be released on September 29th. The expansion pack “Songs of the Past” will be released in 2027 and is dedicated to Dandelion and his motherland.
