Albion Online gets major update

Ancient dragons awaken in Albion Online, bringing with them new regions, dungeons, and major events around the world. The Dragon’s Fire update is now available and is designed for both individuals and large groups.

The main innovations are the Ancient Lands – the floating island kingdom and the ruins of the Guardian civilization, to which portals opened throughout Albion now lead. Depending on the chosen portal, you can go alone or with a group of up to 20 people. As players explore the island, they use keystones to activate ley gates, opening increasingly dangerous routes and earning valuable rewards. Drakes live deep in the area, while fire dragons await you in the center.

The main test for this update will be Dragon Sanctuary, a 20-player PvE raid. The team must fight their way through the Fire Dragon and Ashbourne to face the Fire Dragon Azarian. The developers call this battle the most difficult PvE challenge in Albion Online history. At the same time, the Dragon Clan also has the ability to attack the Royal Continent, and in the Outer Territory, such incidents will be announced to the guild in advance, turning hunting into a battle for prey.

After defeating the dragon, you can craft Dragon Slayer armor, new dishes and potions, and unlock the Ancient Mystic Deluxe Set. The rarest reward is the Fire Dragon Egg, and once grown, you can get your own FireWing. There are also free gifts and double Twitch Drops to celebrate the launch, and a six-week Royal Hunt event will bring together content creators to give away rewards to viewers, including real Silver Dragon Coins.
