Publisher Anne PraxWe recall that the company controlled by Japan’s Sony Music Entertainment has officially announced that it will take over the role of publisher, releasing ” Destiny/Extra Recorda dungeon exploration game developed by Type-Moon Studio BB. The title is a remake destiny/extraoriginally released in 2010 for PlayStation Portable or PSP friends.
The project has had a very complicated development path: announced in 2020, originally scheduled for release in 2025, then delayed to the following year, only to suffer further setbacks from the original publisher, Bandai Namco Entertainmentwill withdraw from the agreement in March 2026.
Despite the change of direction, development never stopped and a new deal could bring it closer release date. Currently, the communication transition is taking place under the management of the new publisher: the old social profiles dedicated to the game will be closed on September 7 and replaced by a new official page. More details about the game will be shared next month.

While announcing the new publisher, Notes conveyed some changes in the organizational structure and development team of Type-Moon Studio BB through its official website. The most important news is Kazuya Shinno’s Farewellalready the director of the 2010 original game and so far responsible for the remake: Niino has resigned, finally leaving the studio. At his specific request, his name will not appear in the post-release credits.
