We’re talking about a chest in the burned ruins that teleports characters to Celia’s crystal tunnel. You can get there almost at the beginning of the game, when the hero is still completely unprepared for the local enemies. For starters, this is especially brutal: an ordinary box suddenly turns into a ticket to an incredibly dangerous part of the world.
That’s exactly what happened to a new Nintendo Switch 2 owner. The player said on Reddit that he had just started to clear the level, opened a random treasure chest, and suddenly found himself in an area that was too dangerous and didn’t know how to get out. The veteran gave simple advice – “Run” – while also remembering his ordeal.
The newcomer managed to break out of the tunnel, but then the game prepared a second surprise: Star Desolation took the lead. “Where did I end up?” – was his reaction. Later, the player finally returned to Zamogye. This story perfectly illustrates why Elden Ring still haunts players: years later, a treasure chest can still create a real adventure.
