Acer has announced the Predator Atlas 7, a scaled-down version of its Intel-powered Predator Atlas 8 portable gaming console. The new model features a 7-inch display but offers the same Intel Arc G-series processors, including the Arc G3 Extreme with powerful Arc B390 graphics.

The Atlas 7 console is equipped with an IPS touch screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, supports VRR, and a brightness of 500cd/m22. The 16:9 aspect ratio panel features 100% sRGB color space coverage and uses Gorilla Glass Victus with Acer DXC anti-glare coating. The set-top box also includes protective tempered glass.
Acer will provide the portable gaming device with Intel Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme processors, paired with Arc B370 and B390 integrated graphics cards respectively. The B390 is configured with 12 Xe3 graphics cores, and the B370 has 10. Designed specifically for portable devices, these Intel chips support XeSS 3 technology, including super-resolution and multi-frame generation. Atlas 7 will offer up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD.
Cooling of the internal components of the set-top box is provided by two fans. One is a metal Acer Predator AeroBlade fan with 89 blades and is 0.1 mm thick, and the second is a regular plastic fan. Acer also uses an internal vortex duct system to channel air through the case. The battery capacity of the set-top box is 80 Wh, but Acer’s specifications also confirm a 60 Wh battery configuration.
Atlas 7 consoles will offer an optional TMR joystick in some configurations. There are also analog Hall-effect triggers, two rear macro buttons, and a fingerprint scanner built into the power button. The device is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD UHS-II memory card reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, and supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The dimensions of the device are 292 × 112.7–123 × 28.5–48.4 mm. Acer stipulates that the weight of the set-top box is less than 750 grams for an 80 Wh battery and less than 700 grams for a 60 Wh battery. In comparison, the 8-inch Atlas 8 weighs less than 810 grams and has a battery capacity of 80Wh.
Acer plans to release the Predator Atlas 7 in North America in the fourth quarter of 2026, and in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in November. The price of the device has not yet been announced.
