CD Projekt Red reports strong first half of 2026 – Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Freedom sales hit new highs

Polish company CD Projekt Red launches new financial report reported results for the first half of 2026 and boasted new success for the Phantom Liberty add-on for first-person action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt Red’s revenue reached PLN 435.3 million (USD 116.5 million), an increase of 23% from last year’s PLN 355 million (revised data). Net profit increased to PLN 249.1 million (USD 66.7 million) from PLN 181.6 million.

In the first half of 2026, CD Projekt Red launched a free remaster of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, showed off the “Song of the Past” story supplement, and confirmed the release date of “The Witcher 4”.

The remake will be released on September 29th, “Ballads of the Past” is scheduled to be released in 2027, and “The Witcher 4” is expected to be released in 2028: “Three versions. Three years in a row. One universe. The Witcher series is entering a new phase of development.”.

At the same time, the teams of games in production continue to grow: as of July 31, The Witcher 4 employed 519 employees (513 on April 30), Cyberpunk 2 employed 184 specialists (163), and the mysterious Hadar team reached 33 workers (24).

The Witcher 4 is currently CD Projekt Red’s top priority and is actively in production. Cyberpunk 2 entered pre-production last spring, but Hadar was still in the concept stage.
