Dell has launched its new QD-OLED gaming monitors, the Alienware AW3226Q and AW2527HX – the first aimed at gamers who prioritize high resolution and pixel density, while the second is more appealing to fast-paced gaming fans who value high refresh rates.

In particular, the Alienware AW3226Q is designed for gamers who love high-definition 4K gaming. This monitor is based on a 32-inch RGB Stripe Tandem OLED panel. As the resource points out Tom’s Hardcorethe use of four-layer tandem panels solves one of the few problems seen with traditional QD-OLED panels: text is slightly blurry/soft upon closer inspection. Another advantage of this matrix is the higher brightness level compared to previous generation QD-OLED displays – peak brightness of 1000 cd/m22.
The AW3226Q has a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and a response time of 0.03 ms. The device supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro image synchronization technology and Nvidia G-Sync, and is compliant with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and Dolby Vision standards. A built-in USB-C/USB-A hub is also reported.
The AW2527HX monitor is equipped with a 24.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a refresh rate of 560Hz and a matte finish. The AW2527HX offers improved color reproduction and black levels via a QD-OLED panel with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It also reports support for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 and DisplayPort 2.1 ports.
When developing this monitor, the company worked with Team Liquid to ensure that it meets all the essential requirements of esports players. A layer of graphene is integrated into the display to help dissipate heat more evenly and prevent pixel burnout. A dedicated button lets you switch between 4:3 and 3:2 aspect ratios based on your gaming preferences. There is a built-in headphone holder. The size of the AW2527HX base has been reduced to provide adequate space for the keyboard under the monitor.
The AW3226Q and AW2527HX monitors come with a three-year OLED pixel burn-in warranty. The first model will be launched this autumn, and the second model will be launched in the first quarter of 2027. Prices for the new products will be announced later.
