The team behind MMORPG Neverwinter has released an update called Monoliths of Madness that disrupts the normal order of things in the fantasy world. Instead of peaceful flowers, ominous boulders begin to sprout from the ground, bringing madness and corruption to all living things.
The core part of the patch is the global twelve-month event. Each week, strange altars appear in random areas of the game, attracting corrupted enemies and dangerous bosses.
Users must participate in Heroic Challenges and progress through the server’s overall scale, unlocking valuable rewards such as Shadow Widow mounts, epic artifacts, and unusual companions. Additionally, the update simplifies inventory due to larger stacks of items and allows for two combat upgrades to be used at the same time.
