Crimson Desert’s first new addition will make you feel like the captain of a ship – trailer and details Mapping the Unknown

Korean publisher and developer Pearl Abyss at a State of Play presentation in September declare The first story addition to the critically acclaimed open-world fantasy action game Crimson Desert.

The plug-in, called “Mapping the Unknown” (“Journey to the Unknown”), invites you to explore the lands and seas of Pavel’s continent, find new adventures and leave your mark. Announcement trailer Attached below.

Players will take the helm of their own ship, discover new islands, dive into the depths of the sea, search for sunken treasure, ruins and secrets, and battle powerful enemies.

In addition, Mapping the Unknown will include options for renting buildings, an improved housing system to arrange “Cozy little nest” and engage more deeply with Pavel residents.

They also promise more intense combat, new skills and challenges, the ability to converse with NPCs on a variety of topics, and additional stories for Cliff, Winka, and Damiana.

Charting the Unknown will be released on all Crimson Desert target platforms on October 16th. Pre-orders starting soon – Cliff, Unka and Damiana dive kits included with purchase.

Crimson Desert releases on PC on March 20 (steam, EGS, microsoft store), apple(app store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game sold 6 million copies, won praise from South Korea’s prime minister, and received “very positive” reviews on Steam.
