Earlier this week, Microsoft launched a test of its Disc to Digital program. It allows players to convert disc versions of Xbox One and Xbox Series X games to digital versions with just a few clicks.
Players have responded positively to the feature itself, which makes it possible to get a digital version of the game with all its advantages, including Play Anywhere. The program also allows Xbox Series S owners to digitize their game library on Xbox One discs using a previous-generation console drive, if they have one.
Microsoft has never released a complete list of games that use disc-to-digital functionality, but it notes that the number of such discs exceeds 1,000. Fan site XCT.liveplayers will notice whether a specific game supports this feature, and more than 1,200 projects have been recorded to participate in the program. When writing news:

- 315 The game does not support the disc to digital function.
There are hundreds of other items that have not yet been verified by players, which is why it is impossible to tell whether they will work with the new Microsoft program.
At the same time, statistics show that the smallest proportion of games using this program was released in 2013-2014.
