Square Enix has confirmed the release date for Final Fantasy VII: Revelations and started pre-orders for the game during Sony’s PlayStation State of Play. Since then, something else has been confirmed: The trilogy’s finale will receive two larger story DLCs at a later date.
Two paid expansions following launch will focus on two specific characters who are also popular with fans: Sephiroth and Vincent Valentine.
Therefore, the already launched premium version will include the Story Expansion Pass, which already contains two DLC contents. So far, these have been simply called “Story DLC 1: Sephiroth” and “Story DLC 2: Vincent and the Turk.” The two software packages are scheduled to be released between winter 2027 and spring 2028, but more specific details about scope, plot, or dates have not initially been confirmed.
