Publisher Knights Peak and Windup Games studios have announced that the cooperative adventure game Hela: Of Mice and Magic will be released in the fourth quarter of 2026 and will appear immediately on the Ultimate Edition and PC version of Game Pass. The project will be released on Xbox Series X | S and PC.
In Hela: Of Mice & Magic, players control a little mouse to explore a world inspired by the natural beauty of northern Sweden. Gameplay revolves around solving puzzles and collecting ingredients to make potions. According to the plot, the protagonist is the familiar of a kind witch who protects the world around her, but after she falls ill, the mice must independently restore the destroyed balance.
The developers point out that Hela: Of Mice and Magic emphasizes cooperative exploration. At the same time, the game can be completed in single-player mode thanks to what the author calls a “shadow system.” It allows you to create magical copies of your characters to help you complete multiplayer missions.
Alongside the announcement of the release of Hela: Of Mice and Magic on Game Pass, a new trailer with gameplay was released.
