Patch v. was released yesterday. 0.80.49 brings two hand-crafted custom maps – “Prisoners” and “Rusty Alliance” (only available via the “Custom Game” and “Hotsit” buttons).
In Prisoners, you lead a search party to rescue the commander of a forward outpost, while Rusty Alliance pits you against former allies to see who can quickly paint the map in their faction’s colors.
“Rusty Alliance”
Until the end of September, the developers of Heroes of Might and Magic: The Old Age were still planning to release the first large-scale update of the May development plan. It will include:
- alliance (cooperation);
- New features for random map generator;
- improved reaction wheel;
- Changes to the matching system;
- Ranking system update;
- Rating resets and other improvements.
The next major balance patch will correct aspects that have been hotly debated in the community (including excessive percentage modifiers to damage and defense), and will also introduce new creatures.
