Sony releases new trailer for Until Dawn 2: Stupid teenagers try to survive again

Sony showed off the latest trailer for horror movie Until Dawn 2 at September’s State of Play show and revealed the PlayStation 5 sequel’s release date. The Firesprite Studio project is important to the interactive film genre because it continues the tradition of the original game in emphasizing the variability of solutions. This version will be released on January 28, 2027.

Firesprite Studios led the development of the sequel and hired actor Neil Newbon to participate in the production. The plot tells the story of a team of ghost hunters called “Death Truth” who travel to the abandoned Akishima Island. After a dangerous incident at Blackwood Sanatorium, the heroes stumble upon a surviving Yuna and attempt to uncover the place’s ancient secrets. Once again, players will make difficult decisions that affect their character’s survival.

The original game was released in 2015 and earned a cult following thanks to its high-quality production and rich story. Supermassive Games tried to replicate the success of other titles but couldn’t quite top the original, so fans had high hopes for a sequel to Firesprite.
