Publisher FuRyu and studio Winning Entertainment Group have released a five-minute trailer for animated third-person shooter ANOMALITH, devoted to the various game mechanics. The film reveals in detail the exploration of abnormal spaces, gun battles, the development of the heroine, and the customization of equipment.
ANOMALITH is a third-person abnormal exploration shooting adventure game set in 19**. A space known as “another world” appeared without warning, and the government’s Dangerous Area Countermeasures Office was unable to stop the spread of the threat or determine its origin. The protagonist is investigator Reina Minazuki. The girl slept in an abnormal body called Sarcophogus for ten years. When she woke up, she developed an abnormal sensitivity to the other world. She joins the rest of the department’s staff to search for answers and try to find her missing friend.
The study of anomalies will be associated with a continued lack of resources and the need to monitor what is happening around them. Leona uses firearms to deal with unpredictable enemies and can eliminate stunned enemies in melee combat. In the local space, there is an apartment with inverted gravity and an endless train that violates the conventional laws of reality.
The heroine’s superpowers are related to the subhuman system. Due to her sensitivity to other worlds, Leona will be able to gain unique active and passive abilities from anomalies and then enhance them.
The developers also promise deep weapon customization. Players will acquire a large number of weapons, gadgets, clothing, and artifacts that can bring positive and negative effects and give weapons additional properties. Reona’s wardrobe contains more than 300 customizable items to fit nine body parts.
In between attempts, the heroine will be able to return to base, communicate with other characters and unlock new upgrades. During your research, you can collect over 200 reports of unusual and mysterious object behavior. These materials gradually reveal the nature of the threats facing the world.
ANOMALITH will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 29, 2026.
