The developers of massive shooter WARDOGS have unexpectedly turned a closed beta into an open beta. Now everyone can join the challenge – the team is actually encouraging players to “break their servers”.

The test began on September 3, initially for pre-order owners and players who received invitations through Steam. However, on September 5, the developers opened access to everyone. This decision is related to large-scale testing of server infrastructure before launching the game in Early Access. WARDOGS supports combat for up to 100 players, combining tactical firefights, military equipment, environment construction and destruction.
After that, the next big step will be the launch of Early Access on September 10th. On Steam, the basic version of WARDOGS is currently priced at $39.99, and the backer version is priced at $49.99.
