StarCraft: Voyager – Journey into the Unknown will receive a free update called “Q Trials” on October 1st that will completely change the way you travel through the Delta Quadrant. The new Roguelite mode will offer random events, changed missions, and different routes.
With the freedom to choose people and paths, every attempt will be different. Players will be able to form their own teams, and even the most unusual combinations are acceptable. Development representatives separately noted that you can assemble a crew exclusively from the Borg if desired – though Q may comment on this.
Equinox, the second addition to the DLC pass, will be released at the same time as the update. It will add the eponymous ship to The Trials of Q, along with Captain Rudolph Ransom, First Mate Maxwell Burke, and Private Noah Lessing. The Equinox was significantly inferior to the Voyager in size and functionality: the crew on board was small, and the warp gear left a lot to be desired.
The expansion is now available for wishlisting on PC and pre-ordering on consoles. DLC pass owners will automatically receive Equinox upon release on October 1st.
