Arjun, the next fighter in Street Fighter 6, now has a specific release date. His abilities were also showcased in the gameplay trailer.
Capcom has given a closer look at Arjun, the next character in fighting game Street Fighter 6, in a new gameplay trailer. In addition to this, he will be using yogic breathing techniques when he appears as the second new fighter in Beat’em Up Year 4 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Switch 2 starting October 13, 2026.
Arjun works as a police officer in India until he is framed for the murder of his partner. Now, he’s living a life on the run and trying his best to unravel the mystery behind his partner’s death. Along the way, he drew on the following skills suggested by officials:
-
The arm of justice: A versatile twist attack that drains the opponent’s energy, with variants of different attack strengths and optional follow-up attacks
-
Cruel Shoulders: A forward shoulder attack with attributes that change based on the strength of the attack.
-
Breathing ring: An air ring created by his body and mind, he can attach to the air ring with breath blast waves, pushing the air ring forward as a projectile at different angles
-
Divine Pillar: Arjun blows so much air into the ground that it rises into pillars of earth; attack strength determines the range, and holding the button delays the activation of the pillars
-
beyond justice: When Arjun touches the activated divine pillar with Brutal Shoulder, he can grab the divine pillar and swing it towards the opponent in any direction
-
Horrible interrogation: Command throws only deal recoverable damage, but can deal normal damage if the opponent has already taken recoverable damage.
-
Relentless Defense: Arjun uses yogic breathing techniques to flood his muscles with oxygen, allowing him to convert any incoming melee attack into a counterattack that deals recoverable damage.
-
Moral breakdown: When “Unyielding Defense” is activated, Arjun extends his fists forward, dealing recoverable damage when parrying and normal damage when attacking.
-
Howling Destruction: Arjun’s level 1 super art eliminates opponents through rapid bursts of breathing techniques
-
Momentary forgetfulness: Arjun’s secondary super skill launches enemies into the air and away from him, where he can create divine pillars
-
Yaksha’s order: Arjun’s level 3 super art involves disrupting the opponent’s inner ear and then launching a spectacular devastating attack
