Fans were expecting the Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct to include the first trailer for the live-action film adaptation, but Nintendo managed to suppress the news, showing only the film’s logo.
Thus, the final version of the title was confirmed: simple “The Legend of Zelda” without any bells and whistles. In this version, however, there is a sense rather than laziness or a crisis of thought among responsible citizens. Shigeru Miyamoto himself shared some general details during the live broadcast.
After watching this movie you will understand why there are no subtitles. This is an original film based on key stories, ideas and concepts developed over 40 years in the series. Thanks to the creativity and visuals of its talented production team, it’s a work of art worthy of the Legend of Zelda series. Of course, the Nintendo development team and myself were involved in its creation. When we talk about The Legend of Zelda, the Triforce is always mentioned. What role do you think she will play in the film? We will share more details soon, so stay tuned.
