In a recent interview with Nikkei, Sega CEO Shuji Utsumi clarified the status of the company’s key projects as plans for the big super game come to an end.
Despite rejecting risky experiments, the publisher still intends to develop Total War: Warhammer 40,000, an advanced strategy game from Creative Assembly studios, based on the principles of service games and regularly expand its game world after release.
The program will allow players to lead iconic factions such as Space Marines, Orks, Eldar and Imperial Guard to wage large-scale wars and wield apocalyptic weapons. At the same time, this strategy plans to conduct internal testing within this year, and the mode of continuously filling content after release will ensure the long life of the game.
