At the TennoVIP Seoul event, Warframe developers hosted Devstream 197, showcasing a lot of new things. The main star is Narin, the 66th Warframe, and with her they announced a new node, a co-op mode, and major changes to Banshee.
The Narin Ice Blade update will be released on September 23rd. Narin will be the first female ice-themed Warframe, and a new location on Earth, Yuvan Peak, will appear, tied to the events of Civil War. Here, players will encounter Cephalon Melika and be able to purchase Narin Blueprints using the new Entropic Kuva currency, which is obtained from newly enhanced enemies on Zariman.
One of the main innovations is “Glacier Challenge”, an advanced mode for six players. It can be completed up to three times per week, and upon victory you will receive rewards from the depths of Zariman. The developers stress that these are not raids, but rather an experiment in an unusual form of cooperative play. With the update, Banshee will gain redesigned abilities, and everyone who logs into the game between September 23rd and October 7th will receive her and Forma as gifts. At the same time, the Android version of “Warframe” will appear in the Samsung Galaxy Store.
