Swedish furniture manufacturer IKEA is now also producing mods for Bethesda Game Studios’ critically acclaimed fantasy role-playing game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. As expected, the collaboration turned out to be ridiculous.

The module developed by IKEA experts for “Skyrim” is called Kallax Storageborn, and adds a companion of the same name to the game – a smart cabinet from the Kallax series, voiced by British actor Matt Berry.
“Alduin have never been a true enemy in Skyrim. They’re a mess. Ikea offers Tamriel’s overwhelmed adventurers new quests, loot, and a sentient shelving companion.”read the mod description.

With unfathomable storage capacity and the ability to clear houses, the Kallax Storageborn (companion) can be summoned with the new Thu’um and will forever change the way players manage their inventory.
In terms of new items, the Kallax Storageborn (mod) includes a powerful sword in the style of IKEA’s famous Allen Allen Key (pictured above) and a “Meatball” helmet.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim debuted in November 2011 on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The game has since been ported to all modern platforms and has sold over 65 million copies.
