Not everyone in attendance at yesterday’s Nintendo Direct demo liked the trailer for online hide-and-seek MECCHA CHAMELEON, followed by the Japanese hit’s sudden release on PC and hybrid consoles, but it spread pretty quickly on the new platform.
Lemorion_1224 reports that the casual game sold 100,000 copies in just 24 hours after release. MECCHA CHAMELEON is also on sale for $5.99 in the Nintendo eShop (20% off until September 16th), but, as usual, it can’t be played without a console game – and it can’t be played without a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
Of course, 100,000 is only two percent of the sales of “Mecha Chameleon” on Steam in two months, but for several craftsmen, this number is definitely powerful. Well, who needs all these AAAAAAA for $79.99, right?
